This will be Coach Greer's fourth year with the Boise High School Girls Lacrosse Club! Katie brings a wealth of lacrosse experience to our club and has helped bring our club to five state titles in a row.
Katie’s coaching philosophy is built on a foundation of positive culture and strong work ethic. She believes the most successful teams are the ones that compete selflessly for one another while having fun, and she works every day to ensure her program reflects that standard.
Before moving to Boise from Washington State, Katie was the Head Coach for Issaquah Varsity Girls Lacrosse for four years, leading the team to the state championships. She was also the Girls Program Director for Washington State’s top club, Seattle Starz Lacrosse Club, where she organized all activities, and was responsible for training coaches and developing a program for players to succeed on and off the field. Prior to her time at Seattle Starz, Katie was the Girls Program Coordinator and Head Coach at Seattle Superstix Lacrosse Club. She has experience guiding players and parents through the NCAA recruiting process, and acting as a liaison.
In her free time, you can find Katie mountain biking, hiking with her husband, son, and black lab, or trying out a local coffee shop or restaurant.
We are excited to announce our new Head JV Coach, Lauren Hagel. Lauren is a sophomore at Boise State University and a current member of the BSU Women’s Lacrosse Club team. She has been playing lacrosse for 13 years and brings extensive experience as a midfielder and draw specialist, giving her a strong understanding of the game across all areas of the field.
In addition to her playing background, Lauren has three years of coaching experience at the club level, working with a select team based in Sacramento, California. We are thrilled to welcome her to our program and look forward to the leadership and energy she will bring as she helps take our JV team to the next level.
