What to expect by season

Are you interested in playing lacrosse for Boise High?

All girls, 9th - 12th grade, are welcome!  

Fall is a great time to join the BHS lacrosse program, be a part of a positive team culture, and be a part of a 5x State Championship winning team!

FAQ's:

        Is experience required? 

        No!

        What do I need?

        Girls lacrosse stick, goggles, cleats, mouth guard, and a water bottle.

        What if I don't want to purchase gear until I know if my daughter likes lacrosse?

        A lacrosse stick and goggles may be available to borrow for new players but a mouth guard is required and cleats are highly encouraged.

        Where and when are practices, games?
        Practices are at South Junior High in fall and spring.

        FALL BALL : **8 weeks - with a focus on skills, drills and fun with a great team!**
        Practice : 2xWeek (Tues. & Thurs.) from 4:30pm- 6pm. 
  *no game schedule, fall ball ends with a jamboree style tournament against other local teams. 

 
        SPRING (main) SEASON : February to mid-May
  Practice : 5xWeek (Mon. - Fri.) from 4:30pm- 6pm.   

   Home games are played on the BHS turf field and at other schools in the Treasure Valley.

        When does the spring season end?

        Middle of May depending on post season play (playoffs and state championship games).
